Sonic's Ideal Valentine (READ THE DESCRIPTION!)

NOTE: I don't want to see ANY comments saying, "Sally Acorn is trash!" "Amy is Sonic's true girlfriend!" "That should be Blaze in that picture!". 

Counting up all the votes from Which Sonic Couple is best (fav.me/daxhaya), Sally ended up being in First Place with 26 votes, with Blaze following her in Second with 18, Amy in Third with 9, and Rouge (sadly) being in Last Place with 8 (No, no numbers were rigged). It actually makes sense for Sally to be considered Sonic's ideal girl by most people (that aren't rabid), because as said, word for word,
    "Within context of actual canon, there is nothing to base the Sonouge ship on except for a brief teasing flirtation in Sonic Chronicles, while Amy is just a typical yandere fangirl commonly seen in many slice of life and harem anime (though in some games it is portrayed as an unhealthy obsession, such as Sonic Battle on GBA.)  I feel like the Sonaze ship is actually encouraged by the game writers because they went out of their way to give them little moments, whether it was a long silence in Sonic Rush, or Percival's blushing after he saved her in Black Knight.  Sonally is BY FAR the most developed and long lasting canon relationship Sonic has ever been in, and in the comic book it actually got as far as actual love confession, engagement, and even future stories where the characters were married and had children... the only issue some might have with it is that Sally isn't in the video games (brief cameo in Spinball aside.)"
A lot of people may disagree with this statement by saying Sonic marrying Sally goes against his character, but to me, it makes the most sense, because it does. This may tick people off, considering that some SonAmy shippers, and I'm not saying all, tend to view Sally as.... something else *cough**cough* flanderization *cough**cough* out of character *cough**cough*.
EDIT: Just need to share a bit more. To most people, Sally shouldn't be Sonic's girlfriend, because of this reason (aside from that she's in Amy's way), she isn't in any of canon games. Some say that Sonaze has a more realistic relationship than Sonally, others might say that Sonamy is more intriguing, and small minority might say Sonic and Rouge have communicated, and have more in common than we think. I would agree with the last one, considering that I'm a Sonouge fan myself, but hey, it's not my call. Speaking of Rouge, part of me wanted her to get first place, but then again, like Wakeangel2001 said, Sonic and Sally have had the longest and more developed relationship in the franchise, Sally may not be in the games, but keep in mind, she's still technically Sega's property.  Anyways, hope you guys and girls like this, have a Happy Valentines Day!
